Dangers of twitter

1) One of the dangers of Twitter, which I suppose is a danger of all technology, but is more public with Twitter, is that if your account is hacked, other people may think you are posting things that you aren’t. All of your followers will see the post, and if there’s a link, others may visit that site, not knowing that it’s not legitimate. Depending on the nature of the post, it could hurt your relationship with anyone who follows you – especially because they may not really know you.

2)With twitter becoming the latest craze, many have succumbed to its effect. Twitter stands more as a testament, a future litigation from people’s tweets. It is mostly an outlet to vent, yet these emotional outburst of words can do more harm than good against you. It is an archive of your dangerous words that can cost you your reputation and your job. The more personal you become in twitter, the more costly it becomes for everyone bear witness to your word.Every tweet is a statement, a written record that tread along dangerous waters when anger and hatred are left uncheck as you write your updates. Mark your words, as Twitter does more harm than good if your mind is left loose.

3)Twitter can be a very bad obsession . Spending all your time in twitter means that you have no time for your friends , family and most importantly , school work . So , everyone should maintain a balance schedule for everything. The same thing applies for all other obsessions such as Gaming (very addicting , even i am addicted to this) , chatting ( you can chat online but if you chat online every time and you do not communicate with people in real life , something is very wrong)

4) I know that this has been mentioned many times to us teenagers , but i still want to emphasize on this matter. Cyber Bullying , in social network websites such as twitter , cyber bullying is occurring . Making people feel bad about themselves is wrong. So , to prevent this from happening , set your profile into private , so that only friends whom you know can check your profile page. Also , do not add someone whom you don't know very well as many things can happend when you do , such as harrasment. So , follow all these tips and you'll be fine
